FieldForce® Pumping & Power Solutions: Specialists in Construction Dewatering, Sewer Bypass, and Pumping Applications

It’s a new year, and with it we’re proud to tell you about our name change.  As experts in pumping and power applications for heavy construction, we at FieldForce felt it appropriate to lead with our core competencies – our specialties in complex pumping applications and mobile power supply.

We are now FieldForce® Pumping & Power Solutions.

We’ve always been more than an equipment rental company. We’ve offered engineered pumping and power solutions to our customers in the municipal, construction, manufacturing, and industrial sectors for years. Adding equipment rental options to our portfolio of offerings, as we did when we formally became FieldForce, a division of Keystone Clearwater Solutions, more than three years ago, was one more way to meet customer needs.

For instance, having a fleet of equipment allows us to source your equipment needs and deploy 24/7/365 to support you with delivery, installation set-up, maintenance, and monitoring on-site if required.

But it’s our experienced workforce and expertise in engineering and project management that enables us to truly customize and implement solutions for our customers.

Recently we took on a wastewater treatment plant bypass project that required both innovative thinking and an automated system. The plant, located in central Pennsylvania, was installing a new ultraviolet water system. The challenge we faced was that the wastewater flow from the clarifiers was unpredictable, both in timing and volume. Additionally, the wet well was undersized.

We installed two different Atlas Copco WEDA submersible pumps (a D60 and a D70) in the wet well, and  deployed a series of floats, sensors, and timers so that the pumps began to run as soon as the water level hit the target volume. The same sensors signaled the pumps to stop before the water level was too low. Our second customization for this project was more traditional: a frac tank. By pumping into a frac tank we were able to slow the flow and even it out before it hit the temporary UV system.

We’ve always said that customers rely on FieldForce to deliver solutions for complex water management projects, including temporary pipeline, specialized filtration, and maintenance events. It’s projects like this one, where we use not just our fleet of equipment but our engineering and project management skills to deliver best-in-class service, that demonstrate our full capabilities.
