Sewer Bypass in New Jersey
We engineered a large diameter sewer bypass for a cured-in-place piping project (to re-line the sewer pipes) in a beach town in New Jersey. We ran 1,000 feet of 12-inch DR17 HDPE pipe, installed six road crossings at homeowner’s driveways, from a manhole in a backyard to the pump station.
Included in the system were:
- Three Atlas Copco PAS F88 sound attenuated pumps
- Fusing of 1,000 feet of 12-inch DR17 HDPE pipe
The project took place in September 2024 to avoid most vacation traffic.
